Hello Rainy Season!

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is - oh no, that's right, it's not the old man snoring, it's my roommate.  It's 5 am and I can barely hear myself think for the noise of the rain slamming against our roof, and yet the drumming of the rain combined with my bunkmate's snoring combine to an oddly comforting symphony.  And so I'm falling back asleep until I realize...rain all morning means playing in the mud all afternoon!  This is the brilliance of working on a project with children - I get to become a child again, shamelessly and enthusiastically!  Here I am, acting like a 23 year old, caught out in the rain...

And here I am, realizing that I can conduct a Sports class that I call "Teamwork and trust building" to other fellow adults, but that I gleefully call "Rolling in the mud and loving it" in my head...

I don't think I am quite ready to say goodbye to the Costa Rican rainy season...growing up is overrated!
